Part-time Nanny Needed in Town of Middleton, WI

A family in the Town of Middleton is in need of a part-time nanny to care for their two children, a girl, who will be 6 in January and a boy who is 4 and 1/2.  The schedule will vary, but is given a month in advance.  Most scheduled shifts will include 12 hour days, typically from 6am-6pm. There are also some 6 hour shifts with variable scheduled time, but would often be from 11am-5pm.  The work schedule will be Monday through Friday.  On average, the nanny would be needed for 2 or 3 days out of the week. The family would ask in advance if the nanny is needed for a weekend or overnight, and would okay it with the nanny prior to scheduling. The family is guaranteeing 24 hours of pay per week.  There will also be many occasions for the nanny to pick up additional hours with them.  They are seeking a nanny that can be flexible with the schedule.  They are seeking a nanny that is very reliable, engaging, nurturing, and has previous experience with caring for preschool and school age children. They are also looking for a nanny that would like to stay with them longer-term. The typical duties of the nanny include the care of the children, driving them to and from school and other activities, light household work such as keeping living space tidy, doing the dishes, helping to pick up after the children, When both children are in school the nanny may be needed to run errands, grocery shopping, family meal prep, organizing and maintaining children's play areas, shopping for and planning art and craft projects. The pay is negotiable and in the range of $16-$18/hour.  The family is offering 48 hours of paid vacation time per year.  This position begins asap.
